Atlantean Treasures Mega Moolah. Beat the Beast - Griffins Gold. Genie Jackpots Wishmaker. Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx. Narcos Videoslot. Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah. Adventure Palace. Adventures of Doubloon Island. Age of Conquest. Absolootly Mad is a premium slot machine from Triple Edge Studios, one of the many affiliated manufacturers for Microgaming. And, Microgaming is again the godfather of the hugely popular Mega Moolah jackpot slots. Absolootly Mad™: Mega Moolah – another hit or rubbish? NEW 5 reel video slot game with 243 win ways paying from left to right has been recently developed by independent Triple Edge Studios and introduced exclusively by Microgaming. Now it’s accessible across all gadgets at just $0.20. There’re 4 Progressive Jackpots, Rolling Reels™, 8-56 Free Spins with 1X-15X Multipliers. Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah takes players down the rabbit hole in this five-reel, medium-volatility, 243 ways online slot that conjures up a truly magical gameplay experience infused with rich and vibrant artwork, a whimsical soundtrack and a multiplier trail that is amplified during free spins.
Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah is Microgaming’s 3rd new progressive jackpot game in 2020.
The slot with 243 ways to win is created by Triple Edge Studios, who are behind popular games like Lara Croft, Book of OZ Lock ‘N Spin, Playboy Gold Jackpots, and African Quest. Featuring the long-time favourite Rolling Reels mechanic, it’s the cascading symbols and multipliers of up to 15x that lead the show for the most part of the game. However, the main magnet is the four progressive jackpots, which puts the game in the same category as the life-changing Mega Moolah with its Mega Jackpot that often exceeds £/€4 million.
Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah is gradually released across Microgaming slot sites between 7 April and 5 May 2020. Some top casinos where you’ll find this game currently live include 32Red.

Rolling Reels + Multiplier Trail
Microgaming’s independent game studio has once again used Rolling Reels to make the game more playful. References to the Mad Hatter are largely evident in the theme. Unsurprisingly then, the Mad Hatter symbol is the most rewarding with its 10x win multiplier for a full line. There are 9 other symbols that complete the wonderland’s tale and they all come stacked too.
Better yet, thanks to the Rolling Reels each spin can award multiple consecutive wins. As the feature triggers an explosion of winning symbols, the avalanche is counted as a free re-spin. That in turn activates a Multiplier Trail, which makes back-to-back wins that much more rewarding.
The Multiplier Trail values in the base game (and Free Spins) go as follows:
- Initial win – x1 (x3)
- 1st roll – x2 (x6)
- 2nd roll – x3 (x9)
- 3rd roll – x5 (x15).
The avalanche and multiplier thing is not as engaging as in Jungle Jim 2. But I’d assume that for the target market which the game was created this classic feature gets the job done.
That said, there are Wilds (Gold Coins) that substitute for all symbols and appear on reels 2, 3 and 4; and Free Spin symbols in this game too, which can lead to more impressive wins of over 2,300x in the bonus.
Free Spins Bonus + Higher Multipliers
Mega Moolah Absolootly Mad Pot
The Free Spins bonus gets triggered with 3 or more Free Spin Scatters. You’ll get 8 freespinsfor each triggering way. This means that you could end up with 16 or 32 spins if the bonus symbols hit two or more lines.
👍 Tip: Note that reels 4 and 5 are not considered in the calculation of the Free Spins. Wilds also replace Scatters, which makes it easier to trigger more spins at once (and helps with re-triggers!).
As is often the case with similar games, the Free Spins Multiplier Trail is tripled, including base game wins which also pay out 3x more than in the base game. During test, bonus frequency was triggerable within a couple of hundred spins and rewards tended to be around 50x.
At any point during the game you can win the Progressive Jackpot bonus at random.
Progressive Wheel Jackpot Bonus (Random)
Wilds are collected throughout the Rolling Reels play into the golden pot to hint that something can happen when the spins stop imploding. That something is a randomly triggered Cuckoo Jackpot Wheel feature. The higher you bet the bigger the chance that it’ll activate. In fact, if you play at max bet, the wheel bonus will trigger every few spins (like with other Microgaming slots).
Win 1 of 4 guaranteed jackpots:
- Mega Jackpot – starts at 1,000,000
- Major Jackpot – starts at 10,000
- Minor Jackpot – starts at 100
- Mini Jackpot – starts at 10.
👍 Tip: The progressive jackpot is funded by a percentage of player wagers. The progressive jackpot contribution is 5.30%. Effectively, the game has an RTP of 86.72% (about the same as Atlantean Treasures).
Conclusion
Is it Time for a Tea Party?
The Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah slot aims at diversifying Microgaming’s jackpot portfolio by adding some time-proof features and taking the volatility to the highest level (based on the official data). At the same time, they’ve kept things plain and simple for novices to understand and take a shot at Microgaming’s record-breaking progressive jackpot network which has paid out more than €1.1 billion so far. With bets ranging from 0.20 to 50 credits per spin, it’s not hard to imagine high rollers taking their chance at this more volatile slot too.
When it comes to the review score, I cannot overlook the fact that the game’s largely based on Triple Edge’s previous release, Lara Croft Temples and Tombs, that came out in May 2019. This is to say it’s not nearly as exciting or original as Wheel of Wishes when it was released earlier in 2020.
The Mad Hatter slot is now live, so if you have any interest in the jackpot, then give it a go at licensed slot sites like the one below or else check out the Tomb Rider that offers 5,000x win potential and no sacrifices in the RTP department.
Good luck!

Can you trust Mvideoslots.com reviews? I hope so, because at the end of the day I want you to be happy with the casino or slot that you choose. But I also encourage you to look at other trusted sites which may have different opinions. If you decide to look around then make sure that it is a trusted source because it is common practice for casino operators to have their own “review sites” which are biased, not to mention the sites which have reviews written by people who are not following the industry.
